Lite mer tjat om den kommande trippel dvd´n från At The Gates.
Dokumentären från den kommande boxen visades i Soho i England den 15 januari HÄR kan du läsa om det.
På play kan man förboka boxen för 14,49 Euro. Det är nog det bästa priset jag sett så här långt. Givetvis så har jag gjort det och samtidigt bokade jag den kommande Primordial dvd´n för lite över 15 Euro. Det betyder att jag fick bägge dvderna för mindre än vad ena skulle kosta i Sverige. Nämde jag att det är fri frakt.




För att även peaceville ska få casha in lite på At The Gates återföreningssväng så ska dom släppa en Collector's Edition av deras andra platta With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness som även den ska inehålla en dvd och Liner Notes från Tomas Lindberg. Dvd´n är från en spelning i Groningen, Holland, 1992. Jag har ingen aning hur kvaliten är men en gissning är ju att den inte är nåt vidare. Låtarna som framförs är följande:

Ännu en natt att jobba och ögonlocken börja redan att kännas tunga...nåja bara sju timmar kvar. Läste nyss två mycket trevliga nyheter. Svenska Deathmetalplutonen Evocation ska spela in en ny platta. 2009 års “Dead Calm Chaos” var ju ett litet mästerverk så förväntningarna är ju minst sagt höga. Norges vikingatrupp Enslaved håller även dom på att spela in nytt. Enslaved är ju vad jag skulle vilja kalla ett pålitligt band, de gör helt enkelt alltid bra plattor. Detta betyder att två platser på 2010 års lista på de bästa plattorna är mer eller mindre upptagna får jag hoppas. Vi firar dessa nyheter med att kolla in två videos med ovan nämda band. Smakprovet från filmningen från Club Deströyer med Tribulation och Kaamos kommer tyvärr att dröja lite, jag var lite av en tidsopptimist...men håll ut...det kommer.

Fredagen den 7 Maj spelar NOMINON och GRAVEYARD (spa) på Club Deströyer.

Pipeline har en del interssanta och överraskande bokningar. Jarboe och Brant Bjork är ju båda något av legender och att Pipeline lyckats boka dem är ju lite av en bedrift. Jarboe är ju mest känd för att hon var medlem i Swans (som tydligen har fått nytt liv enligt deras myspace). Brant Bjork är ju känd från Kyuss och Fu Manchu.

Den kommande At The Gates dvdn "The Flames of the end" är en våt dröm för ett gammalt fan som mig.
Enligt discshop så är innehållet på de tre dvdskivorna följande. Efter att ha läst detta så blir man ju inte direkt mindre sugen på att ha denna juvel i dvdhyllan. Vill ha!!!

Lite info om den kommande Primordial dvdn "All Empires Fall"

Irish pagan masters PRIMORDIAL will release their first-ever DVD, "All Empires Fall" in Europe on March 1 via Metal Blade.

Disc 1 of the two-disc set is the centrepiece of the DVD and features a full PRIMORDIAL headline show recorded live on January 24, 2009 in the band's hometown of Dublin, Ireland. The concert was filmed with five cameras and has an exceptional vintage look due to the hard work in post-production. A truly impressive and powerful live gig, exciting from start to finish in front of die-hard PRIMORDIAL audience and a perfect soundtrack that is available in stereo and 5.1!

Disc 2 features live clips from the band's appearances at Ragnarök Festival (Germany), Hove Festival (Norway) and Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) in 2008. The second disc also contains a band documentary with all the inside stories and loads of ancient footage from the early stages of the band. The documentary has a playing time of approximately 60 minutes. Interviews with all band members and rehearsal footage complete the second disc of the set/

The special deluxe version of "All Empires Fall" features expanded packaging and two additional audio CDs featuring the Dublin show.

Commented vocalist Alan "Nemtheanga" Averill: "The gods have been working hard dogging the release of our first DVD, 'All Empires Fall', but finally we are ready to prevail.

"The DVD will contain our Dublin show from last year, a documentary and bonus material from recent festivals. The special edition will contain the audio discs of the Dublin show, so you can hear how some old classics are played now, some almost two decades after writing.

"So how does it look? The simple answer is and without exaggeration possibly one of the best metal live shows I've ever seen. We filmed it on analog reels, cut it with frightening pace and mixed it up with some very unconventional camera angles. It has the feel of a classic show from the late '70s — not the clean, clinical digital vacuum most modern shows are filmed in. We also invested a lot of time, money and effort, so don't expect one of those free recordings most festivals and soundstages offer. As normal, we didn't do anything conventionally so there are no boring balcony stills or side-of-stage montages. No overdubs, auto-tuning or drop-ins; we are proud that 'All Empires Fall' shows us as we are and as a PRIMORDIAL show always is. Blood and thunder and no quarter given from start to finish…"

Sitter och loggar material till vad som jag hoppas blir en dvd från Kaamos och Tribulations spelning på Club Deströyer. Själva klipparbetet har jag inte kommit igång med ännu men materialet ser lovande ut. Jag hoppas på att om typ en vecka kunna lägga ut ett smakprov på vad som komma skall.

Vi firar även in det nya året med lite mer svinbra musik :) Bolt Thrower är alltid rätt! Testament borde vara världens största metalband och INTE Metallica. At the Gates är även dom alltid rätt. Hoppas att ni alla får ett riktigt bra 2010.
